WSC57 - It's been a while!

I haven't had time to play with Beate's weekend sketch challenges lately but I managed to do this week's sketch today. Now I just have to catch up on the last couple :) Anyway here is Beate's sketch:

And here is my card. All cardstock is from Stampin' Up! (in cool caribbean, whisper white and certainly celery). Ribbon, and brads also SU! and the cute dino stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs. Patterned paper is SEI.

This card is gorgeous Jodene! I love your use of the silver brads, as I have been at a loss as to what to do with them!!! Thanks for sharing and hope you are all well :)

I have a severely "newbie" question - and I thought I'd ask you 'cause I've always liked coming to your blog to see your cards - hope you don't mind.

My roomate and I are just starting to make cards and wanted to know what is the most used way of folding the card in two... scoring the fold, binding two flat cards with ribbon, or just folding the cardstock... we apparently suck at the folding and the scoring (our scores always end up cutting through) but don't think that binding is actually the average way of folding cards over...
