Friends 24-7 Matching Purse

I made this little purse from one of Lauren Meader's templates to match the card I posted earlier today. But in retrospect I really should have used the vanilla cardstock as I think it would have matched better. But it's not to late to change that ;)

I think that is it for me .... I need to step away from my craft room and catch up on some housework! It's been a bit neglected the last few days while I have played :)

Supplies: cardstock in choc chip and pretty in pink. Ink is choc chip. Felt flowers and satin ribbon in choc chip. All from Stampin' Up!

Friends 24-7

Here is a card I made using the gorgeous Friends 24-7 stamp set. This set just has so many possibilities, I love it! Don't you just adore this colour combination? It's just like Neopolitan Ice Cream :) Supplies (All stampin' Up!) Friends 24-7 stamp set, cardstock in choc chip, pretty in pink and very vanilla. Ink in Choc chip and pretty in pink. Satin ribon in chocolate chip.

Same colours, different day :)

Well technically I made this box yesterday but I only got around to finishing it off today. I made it to go with the card I posted a couple of days ago. I haven't put anything in it yet but I am going to pick up some nice scented tealight candles to put in it. And I promise I will now step away from the red and pink cardstock and do something totally different!!
(I just noticed how crappy my bow is on this box, so I will have to go and fix that now!)

And how sweet is this little chicky .. isn't she a cutie! I picked up a dozen of these from Spotlight today because I thought they would be such a gorgeous addition to some little easter projects I want to do for the girls friends. They are a little different from the usual yellow ones (but I got some of those too, didn't want them to feel neglected!) and just sooo girly :)
Supplies for the the box: cardstock and paper by Stampin' Up! Misc flowers and buttons, shredded paper and ribbon from spotlight. Template by Lauren Meader.

More Happy Mail!

I was so excited this afternoon to hear a knock on the door, since I have been expecting my Stampin' Up! starter kit, and sure enough it arrived!! I am so excited, now I feel like a real demonstrator :) Although some negative events of the last couple of days already have me doubting my decision, I will remain positive and carry on!

I didn't get any pics, but I now have another 5 new stamp sets to play with. So as soon as I get them all put together and I have a chance to play I will upload some new cards to share with you, so stay tuned!

Yep, I'm on a roll today!

My third post and my second card of the day! Getting new stuff to play with really inspires me, can you tell? :) Anyway here is my card, using the same colours as the previous one. I will have to clean off my desk now and do something totally different for the next one! Supplies: Ippity Stamp from Unity, cardstock and ribbon by Stampin' Up! in choc chip, real red, very vanilla and pretty in pink. Ink in real red and chocolate chip marker. SU Border punch and the new Sending Love Designer Paper. The flowers are so sparkly and look much prettier IRL! Pastels were used to shade around the image.

Thankyou :)

Of course I had to sit down immediately and ink up some of my new rubber (see my earlier post from today if you don't know what I am talking about). And I thought what better way to start than to make a thankyou card for my lovely friend Andrea who was kind enough to send me all of those wonderful goodies!Supplies: Ippity Stamps by Unity Stamp Company. Cardstock (and ribbon) by Stampin' Up! in Chocolate Chip, real red, pretty in pink, very vanilla. Fiskars texture plate (looks like bubble wrap!) Ink in real red, pretty in pink and chocolate chip. I don't know about you but my little paper crafter's heart just skips a beat when I receive mail like this - especially mail that weighs a tonne! lol Want to see what was in it? Here we go! Sorry for all the pics, but I didn't want to leave anything out :)
Firstly this gorgeous Paper ... The pack on the left is the Sweet Pea DSP - sooo pretty! and even more gorgeous still (because every page has glitter on it!) is the Sending Love specialty paper (second from the left) and the remaining is just some cardstock in Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry and Dusty Durango.. yum! I also received the 6x6 Welcome Neighbour Designer Series Paper Pad, which I seem to have neglected to post here.
I also got some Stamps ... including my very first CLEAR MOUNT SET!! Sorry, was I shouting?? that would be my excitement! I can't tell you how much I love this new system by Stampin' Up! Also in this pic are some square envelopes, some dimensionals and a gorgeous Bermuda Bay ink pad. Do you like the stamps sets in this picture? If so both of these gorgeous sets are available as wood mounted sets during the Stampin' Up! current sale-a-bration. Contact me for further details on how you can own these sets!
And just because I want to show you the complete yumminess that is the clear mount stamps :) Sorry I didn't take better pictures but you know how it is when you are opening exciting pressies like this!
One of my other favourite things in the world ... ribbon!! I am so thrilled to add my first Unity Stamp sets to my collection ... how gorgeous are these! I can't wait to ink these babies up :)
Okay ... more drooling here! These fantastic Border and Corner slim line punches and this adorable label punch!
And I have to say I can't wait to do some fun projects with this baby .. I have coveted this for a looongg time! And now I finally have one!
Something I know all of us stamping girls love ... glitter! This PK Glitz even comes with the cutest little spoon! The eggplant colour is sooo pretty :)
And Andrea also made me this gorgeous PARTY album ... how beautiful is that! It will take pride of place on my stamping shelf :) Thanks Andrea! In this pic there are also some beautiful Prima flowers and a Prism Envelope Trifold Mini Album kit - so fun!!
Well, that's all folks :) Now I am off to play! I am hoping that my SU Demonstrator kit will arrive today, then I can honestly say it has been the best mail day of the year so far!! Actually I think this parcel alone qualifies it for the best mail day of the year so far anyway :)

A neat little trick to share

I just thought I would share with you how I made the little label for the front of the gift box in my previous post, using a Stampin' Up! square scallop punch. My friend Ngaire showed me this and I just thought it was such a cute idea! I think the pics are pretty self explanatory :)

Just Add Ink Challenge #5

This is the description for this week's challenge over at Just Add Ink
Just Add DIMENSION
Stamp it, colour it, dye it, punch it, stick it on, stand it up-it's up to you!
Your creation can be a card, scrapbooking LO or a 3D project.
The most important thing is to
THINK OUTSIDE THE SQUARE
So I have made this box, which holds a set of 4 matching gift cards and envelopes.
Supplies for this project (all Stampin' Up!):
  • Cardstock; pretty in pink, kiwi kiss, rose red, whisper white
  • Paper; Rasberry Tart designer paper
  • Stamps; Flight of the Butterfly, Yummy, Priceless
  • Punches; circle punches, scallop circle and scallop border
  • Misc: Kiwi Kiss ribbon

A very simple card

And I mean simple! One piece of white card with a strip of paper ... quick and easy :)
I cased this from a Sympathy card I saw online (but I have no idea who made it, sorry!) I have added some glitter to the flowers but it didn't come out in the pictures.
Supplies: All Stampin' Up! Razzleberry ink and ribbon (the lighter ink is just the Razzleberry stamped off once first). 5th Avenue Floral and Upsy Daisy stamp sets.

I have a helper today!

I just thought I would share this pic of my cute kitty, who decided she was going to help me today! Good thing she is protecting my papers or goodness knows who may come in and still them from under me (or from under her in this case).

And as you can see, my desk does in fact get messy from time to time :) Although I have to admit, this is only a tiny mess since I've only done 1 quick card this morning. But by this afternoon I expect there probably won't be any room for the cat on my desk at all!
Happy Stamping!

Happy Valentines Day!

Valentines Day is always a bittersweet day for me. This year hubby and I are celebrating our 18th Valentine's together (even though he is not physically here today!) but I am also remembering my dad on the 4th Anniversary of his death. But I am trying to remember the great, happy times and enjoy this day of love as well.
Anyway, here is the card I made for hubby based on a sketch and another card I had seen online.
Below that are some Valentines treat bags that I made for the girls last week to take to school for their friends. They are pretty quick and simple as I made 7 of them in less than half an hour before having visitors for dinner! lol The 'I (heart) You bags were for my girls, the others were for their friends.
Happy Valentines to you and your Special person xxx
