Signing off with a challenge - Just Add Ink #48!

Well peeps (always wanted to say that, it sounds so cute when my blogging friend Gretchen says it!) lol I am out of here at five thirty tomorrow morning, heading to the East coast for Christmas and New Year. Things have been crazy busy here getting ready for our holiday, working and also celebrating our youngest daughters graduation from primary school. But before I go, I just thought I would post one last card which is for this weeks Sketch Challenge over at Just Add Ink.

Just Add Ink #47 - Colour Combo

Is it just me or are the weeks going faster and faster the closer we get to Christmas? I just don't seem to have had a spare 5 minutes to myself lately and my to-do list keeps getting longer rather than short!

The only good thing about it being the end of another week, is that it is challenge time again over at Just Add Ink. And this week it is a nice vibrant colour challenge for you!

And here is my card. I made this for my sweet nephew for his recent 6th birthday.

Supplies:

Cardstock: Basic grey, tempting turquoise, daffodil delight

JAI46 - Just Add Critters!

Don't you just love that word 'critters'? Well this week over at Just Add Ink the theme was to use a critter of any kind on your project. Unfortunatley I am VERY late with my submission as it was due to be up on the JAI site with all of the other DT projects but life has just been crazy busy lately and I have had absolutely no time to craft at all :( So my apologies!

But better late than never right? Here is my card for this week's challenge. And it's hard to see in the pic by my water and little whale spout are actually quite sparkley thanks to the addition of dazzling diamonds :) The colour is also a bit off, the colouring of the whale is a perfect match to the bermuda bay but has come out a little more 'blue' in the photo.

Ink: basic black
