Let It Snow

Well ... there is absolutely NO chance of that where I live.  But the challenge this week over at Merry Monday is to use snowmen on your card so it gives me a chance to use my very under-utilised winter themed stamp sets!

I have also used this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

And here is what I came up with.

Stamps: Papertrey Ink
Paper: Kaiser
Other: Copics, snowflake punch by Martha Stewart, stickles, copic markers, corner rounder

Just Add Ink Challenge #184 - Just Add Bows

Hello again! This is my second post for tonight, so be sure to scroll down to see my card for this fortnight's challenge over at Seize The Birthday.

But now I am back to share my card with you for this week's challenge over at Just Add Ink. And this week we want you to use bows on your project!

I have gone for a clean and simple design this week (again!) using the bow as the focal point of my card. I have given this card a very liberal spray of perfect pearls but no matter how I tried I just could not capture the gorgeous sheen in the photo :(

We really hope that you will play along with us this week!

Seize The Birthday Challenge

Hello friends! It's time for a NEW challenge over at Seize the Birthday Challenge!!

This weeks "Topping" is to use "MORE than one color ribbon" on your project.

For my card this week I have used the sketch from the Seize The Birthday Blog.  Here is the sketch, and remember there is still time to play along with that challenge as well!

And here is my card.

Stamps: Panda from There She Goes Clear Stamps, greeting from Stampin' Up!
Paper: Kaiser

Seize The Birthday Challenge - with a Toppings Option!

It's challenge time again over at Seize The birthday and it is
an Anything Goes Birthday type of challenge with a "Toppings " Option!
But remember, the Topping is infact an "Option" and not a requirement!

So this week your "Toppings" option is

If you decide to add a topping to your Birthday card/project it
should exude one particular color of your choice!
Remember you can always add neutrals to your design!

And here is my card for this week.

Stamps: Sentiment by My Favourite Things, flower image by Bella Stamps
Cardstock: Black, white, pool party by Stampin' Up!
Other: White ribbon, charm, nestabilities, stitching, glitter glue, clear embossing powder.

Bizzy Becs September Challenge - Stitching!

Hello! It's time for  another Bizzy Bec's Challenge.
And the fun challenge for September is

 STITCHING- Real or Faux...
theme by DT Suzanne

The prize for this month is this adorable
Bildmalarna Stamp... "Christmas Flower".
donated from Bizzy Becs Online Store......

And here is my card. I have used one of the cute new Tiddly Inks Images available through Bizzy Becs Online store, as well as papers and ribbons from the Bizzy Becs Card Kits.

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you will know that you don't have to ask me twice to add stitching to a card either! :) I have used my mini sewing machine to stitching around the main panel and mat of my card.

I have left this card without a sentiment because I thought it would work well for either a thank you card or a birthday card and can just add the appropriate sentiment to the inside later.

Cardstock: Patterned Paper from Card Kit #3
Other: Nestabilities, ribbon and diamonte charm from Bizzy Becs Card Kit, border punch, Copic Markers, stitching.
