Seize The Birthday Anything Goes Birthday Challenge

Hello and welcome to another great challenge over at Seize the Birthday

This week it's ....

With NO topping!

And here is my card, which came together so easily thanks to the Blueprints Die-namics from My Favorite Things!

Supplies:
Dies and Stamps: My Favorite Things
Cardstock: Stampin' Up!
Patterned Paper: Studio Calico

And thanks to the girls over at Seize The Birthday for my birthday shoutout! Today is my birthday and I get to spend it on a little holiday with my eldest daughter visiting my best friend and her family.

Just Add Ink #212 - Colour Challenge

I have scheduled this post ahead of time as I am currently down on the South Coast spending four days (including my birthday) with my best friend, her family and my eldest daughter. My youngest daughter is on a school camp on the other side of the country and my hubby is away for work.

So here's hoping my scheduling efforts have worked! I often have trouble for some reason.  But anyway, this week's challenge over at Just Add ink is a colour challenge for you.  When I initially created my card, I didn't realise that there was vanilla in the mix and I wondered why it wasn't quite working for me. Of course I realised later and went back and added in some vanilla pieces rather than pulling my card apart and starting again (yep, I took the lazy option!) hehehe :)

Anyway, here are the colours for you to play with.

And here is my card. All made using die-namic dies from My Favorite Things.

Supplies:
Dies: My Favorite Things
Cardstock: Stampin' Up!
Other: Kaiser rhinestones, glitter spray

Have a SUPER day!

Happy Easter my friends! It is Easter Saturday here and so far my weekend has been pretty relaxing. Apart from a few hours of work that I have to fit in sometime over the next day or two, I am hoping it will pretty much stay that way :)

I did manage to have a little play in my craft room yesterday and came up with this card using some of the new goodies from My Favorite Things. How adorable is this little Super Girl? I love that it has matching dies so you don't have to do all of that fussy cutting by hand. I also created the elements of the card using the latest Blueprints Die-namics. They make creating a card so quick and easy! And of course, I have coloured her with Copic Markers.

Supplies:
Stamps and Dies: My Favorite Things
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie and Black from Stampin' Up! Paper by Studio Calico
Ink: Stampin' Up! and Memento black.
Other: Stampin' Up! Rhinestones, Copic Markers.

Seize The Birthday Challenge - White on White

It is time for another great challenge over at Seize the Birthday!

Our "Toppings" option this time is....

"White on White"

Just remember to keep it a Birthday Theme!

If your not a toppings kinda person, well.....you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes"Birthday!

The choice is yours!

For my card this week I have used one of the new floral stencils from My Favorite Things together with some white Jo Sonja paste to create the raised design. I also sprinkled it with glitter while it was still wet so that it would sparkle :)  I then embossed the greeting using platinum embossing powder.

Just Add Ink Challenge #210 - Just add an Easter basket for box!

With Easter just around the corner, there couldn't be a better time to share some Easter projects with you, and that is exactly what we are doing this week over at Just Add Ink.

To create my basket I used the envelope punch board and followed a tutorial which I found HERE. It was so quick and easy to make!  To finish it off I just added some pretty ribbon, a die cut flower and a quick and easy tag. I then sprayed it all with a light coat of glitter spray so that it really sparkles (although you can't see it in the photo).

Supplies:
Stamps: My Favorite Things
Cardstock: Stampin' Up! naturals and pink pirouette
Other: Sizzix Daisy Die, misc. ribbon, Envelope Punch Board, tag die by MFT.

Just Add Ink Challenge #209 - Just Add Layers

Hi folks!

It's challenge time again over at Just Add Ink, and this week it's such a fun one! We want you to add layers to your project.

I have created my card by layering die cuts and stamped images from My Favorite Things.

I started by stamping the woodgrain stamp in white ink onto kraft cardstock before die cutting it and mounting it on foam.  Then I coloured the stamped image in Copic markers before also die cutting it and layering it over the top.

The background is sponged using a cloud die and some blue chalk.

Supplies:
Stamps and Dies: My Favorite Things
Cardstock: Stampin' Up!
Other: Copic Markers, chalk, cloud stencil
